Acoustic Conditioning for Meeting Rooms
Discover how we reduced the reverberation in this meeting room with a custom acoustic island
This project led us to intervene in a baroque style meeting room with an exciting challenge, to improve the sound quality without altering the classical essence of the space. The solution was to install a Island of acoustic baffles in ECOPanel, designed to blend in with the environment and provide a perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics.
A design thought to stand out, but also to blend in
The room in question had characteristics typical of the Baroque style, elaborate mouldings on the ceilings and walls, ornamental details in gold and beige tones, together with contemporary and modern furniture. In this context, any intervention had to be subtle, but effective, both from an acoustic and aesthetic point of view.
La acoustic island The ceiling we installed is made up of a series of suspended baffles with a clean, modern design. Their beige color was carefully chosen to complement the existing color palette in the room, creating a fluid visual connection between the contemporary and baroque elements. In addition, the neutral tones of the baffles allow the original moldings and details to remain the visual protagonists of the space.
The result is a design balanced and functional, in which the modern does not invade or displace the classic, but rather complements it in an elegant and discreet way.
Improved acoustics, elegance at the highest level
One of the main problems with meeting rooms with high ceilings and hard surfaces is sound reverberation. This creates echoes that make clear communication difficult, especially in important meetings or presentations. By installing the acoustic island, we achieve a much more comfortable and acoustically efficient environment, significantly reducing echo problems and improving sound quality within the space.
But this technical improvement was not the only gain. The aesthetics of the room were also enriched:
- The baffles provided a contemporary touch, making the space feel more dynamic and modern.
- The contrast of styles created an interesting focal point, where the functionality of modern elements highlights the decorative richness of the baroque style.
- The beige color acts as a visual bridge between the modernity of the baffles and the classic warmth of the room, generating a sophisticated and timeless atmosphere.
- Smooth, uninterrupted meetings, Thanks to the reduction of reverberation and annoying noises, conversations are clearer and more natural, facilitating decision-making and effective collaboration between participants.
An example of harmony between past and present
This project is a perfect example of how innovation can coexist with historical and artistic heritage. Far from competing with the baroque design, the acoustic island was integrated as a complement that improves the functionality of the space without sacrificing its essence.
In the end, we achieved a space that is not only more comfortable and functional for those who use it, but also invites you to admire the beauty of the classic in coexistence with the contemporary. This acoustic conditioning It shows that it is not necessary to choose between style and functionality when both elements are worked with care and detail, the result can be surprising.
We are proud to have been part of this project and how we managed to bring to life a space that combines the best of the past and the present.
