From a plastic bottle to an Acoustic Panel

First, shred plastic bottle waste 

Plastic bottles recovered in seas or landfills are crushed to form PET plastic pellets, which is the origin of the entire process. Some small balls of recycled plastic from which fine threads will be formed.

A large machine extracts the raw felt fibers, aligning them and then felting the thin layers of felt. By mixing the different colors you can vary the color intensity of the material
